COSMIC DESKTOP 1.0

Requires macOS 26 or later. Supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

INSTALL
1. Unzip Cosmic-Desktop-1.0.0.zip.
2. Drag Cosmic Desktop.app into Applications.
3. Open it from Applications and complete the setup.

The app is signed by Manuel Re and notarized by Apple.
It includes the 30-second Cosmic K9 scene. No Runway account or credits are needed.

USE
Click the moon-and-stars icon in the menu bar for playback controls.
Open Video Library to add your own MP4/MOV files, browse the catalogue,
or create playlists. Settings includes the overlay editor, display controls,
playback speed, automatic pause and other options.

Choose your idle delay in System Settings > Lock Screen.
To use the app in the Dock, choose Settings > Advanced > Show Cosmic Desktop in > Dock.

Catalogue videos download from their existing providers. Optional paid
expansion packs retain their own licensing. App updates are installed manually.

Your library and settings live in /Users/Shared/CosmicDesktop.
